چکیده
Objectives: To create a DSSC circuit, combine 5-Nitro Salicylaldehyde with Aniline (5NSA). Methods: Working and counter electrodes are made of TiO2 activated carbon film. Digital multimeters used to test the conductive side FTO glass prior deposition. Graphite is as electrode. A functioning electrode was developed on glass. plate edges Scotch tape (on determined by multimeter). Distribute three drops blade-coated equally using stirring stick. 5-nitrosalicylaldehyde aniline dye applied working I-/KI electrolytes. An electrolyte KI solution. I-V P-V properties were examined in direct sunshine solar simulator. Findings: Using digital multimeter simulator plates, analyzed efficiency Mayiladuthurai (L1), Nagapattinam (L2), Vedaranyam (L3). The constructed salicylaldehyde an circuits obtained sunlight from combination 5NSA (L1-2.95 % ;L2-2.3 ;L3-4.4 %) open circuit voltage (Voc) (L1-26 mV;L2-38mV ;L3-39mV) short current density (Isc) (L1-80 mA;L2-60 (L1- 1.42 ; L2- .1.01 L3-1.9 ). Different glasses determine lowest maximum light locations discovered 5.8mV frosted lamp position 5 fill factor 8% plain 5(0.92%). Novelty: pigments optimized agents exhibited improved photovoltaic properties, absorbed more sunlight, utilized photon energy effectively. Application of azo dye as sensitizer in dye-sensitized solar cells
An azo dye used as photosensitizers in Dye-sensitized solar cells DSSCs. Azo dyes economically superior to organometallic dyes because they are color variation and cheap. The spectrophotometric evaluation of an azo dye in solution and on a TiO2 substrate show that the dye form J-aggregation on the nanostructured TiO2 substrate. Oxidation potential measurements for used azo dyes ensured an energ...
متن کاملA highly efficient organic sensitizer for dye-sensitized solar cells.
We have synthesized a highly efficient organic dye for a dye-sensitized solar cell; the overall solar-to-energy conversion efficiency was 9.1% at AM 1.5 illumination (100 mW cm(-2)): short-circuit current density (J(sc)) = 18.1 mA cm(-2), open circuit photovoltage (V(oc)) = 743 mV and fill factor (ff) = 0.675.
متن کاملFabrication of dye sensitized solar cells with a double layer photoanode
Dye sensitized solar cell was fabricated from a double layer photoanode. First, TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrothermal method. These TiO2 NPs were deposited on FTO glasses by electrophoretic deposition method in applied voltage of 5 V and EPD time of 2.5-10 min. Then TiO2 hollow spheres (HSs) were synthesized by sacrificed template method with Carbon Spheres as template and TTIP ...
متن کاملEfficient thiocyanate-free sensitizer: a viable alternative to N719 dye for dye-sensitized solar cells.
We have designed and synthesized a new thiocyanate-free sensitizer coded as SPS-01 and used it as the sensitizer in a TiO(2) based nanocrystalline dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). SPS-01 exhibits strong visible absorption properties with maximum peak around at 532 nm. The overall power conversion efficiency (PCE) of a DSSC sensitized with SPS-01 (7.96%) is higher than that of N719 (7.30%) unde...
متن کاملRecent development of carbon nanotubes materials as counter electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells
Dye-sensitized solar cells present promising low-cost alternatives to the conventional Silicon (Si)-based solar cells. The counter electrode generally consists of Pt deposited onto FTO plate. Since Pt is rare and expensive metal, nanostructured carbonaceous materials have been widely investigated as a promising alternative to replace it. Carbon nanotubes have shown significant properties such...
